Not great. More cutesy than deep.If it's on sale and you like these games, get it. Otherwise, wait.. Very Nice td game.Your defending infantry reminds me a bit of starcraft units.Gameplay is similar to kingdom rush with alot more upgrades.I would like to see a slider bar to turn music down a bit to match the gameplay sounds. 9.5 out of 10 i give this game. One of the best ive played so far. Great work devs i love this game. A must buy if u like td games and the price is very affordable!!. I'm really enjoying this game - the multitude of tower upgrades give this TD game a unique selling point. It's also got a lot in common with Kingdom Rush and that's no bad thing, e.g. in-lane warriors, missile strikes and para-troopers are similar to KR's knights, meteor strike and re-enforcements, but it's all sufficiently different that I feel that this is money well spent. The pacing is nice, perhaps a little slow, but some of the linked tower upgrades are fantastic and the pacing might be required to introduce you to them. Linked upgrades mean that you don't just build, say, a flame-tower. Instead you build a MG-tower, upgrade its range, which unlocks a ranger tower. Upgrade the ranger tower with rockets and that finally unlocks the flamer. It's a neat system and reasonably logical so you don't have too much to remember. But it adds flexibility to your strategy overall. If you like TD generally and you like Kingdom Rush especially, you'll love this - it's slickly done and dirt cheap for the quality on offer.A few videos have noted that there's no option to change music\/effects volumes, but you can at least togglel each on\/off.. Lots of good points, though let down by the curious system of tower upgrades - they are not linear, so you can spend a lot of points upgrading a tower, points which are essentially thrown away when you upgrade down a different path. As a general rule, and one that evidently doesn't benefit from being broken, TD games should provide linear upgrade paths - no upgrade is wasted, no points are wasted. As always, Kingdom Rush does it best - the only divergence from the linear approach is when you reach the top of the tree. As it retains the notion that no points are wasted. The game would be vastly improved by having, say, 6 different base towers, rather than two twoers that endlessly branch.. Good tower defense game...especially on sale...but still worth it at full price. Stylish graphics and a good challenge, you should pick this up if you like tower defense.. I bought this game after it was recommended in a forum thread about the 3rd Kingdom Rush game.Needed almost 20 hours to finally beat the last stage and can say that it is a damn good Tower Defense game that does some things even better than the KR games. There are more towers /tower variations as example. Some stages seemed pretty hard but basically the players just have to figure out which towers work the best in specific situations. You can't just deploy marines in every level, nope it needs a bit strategy and logic to beat all stages and "master" them.In short, if you like Tower Defense games that are not super easy, get it. And better grab the deluxe edition of you like video game music. This one has some excellent tracks,
